Little Betsy Beagle - what a dog !

Betsy came to us very very poorly, having not recovered after the birth of an accidental litter of pups. Her human mum was waiting for the end of her first season to get her spayed as per vet recommendations, but unfortunately she fell pregnant on her first season - far far too young to have pups and it nearly killed her. She was separated from her pups and sent to our vets for intensive care and therapy, while her pups were hand reared.

It look several months for Betsy to recover well enough to return to us and go on to her foster home. She’s been there now for 8 months and is back to a lovely healthy weight, and has re-discovered her puppy hood and is being a very typical naughty, vocal, boisterous and confident beagle.
