Rodney

You know how we all put old and best photos on our Facebook ? That’s what little Rodney did and we’ll forgive him as we showed him how he should look

Rodney is a young Jack Russell who was surrendered to us by his owners family, when health deterioration led to his mum being no longer able to care for him. His short life had spent being utterly spoilt, far too much time spent on his mum’s lap being fed cheese. He was, how shall we put it, more rounded than his photos from his puppyhood suggested. We’ve all been there haven’t we ?

He has been rehomed with a fabulous young couple, living in a fairly remote countryside location, so Rodney has miles and miles of walks to access. Both mum and dad are able to take him to work with them - both of them working outdoors jobs, so Rodney doesn’t get to hit the sofa until the evening, and in the day is pottering around constantly being kept busy. In just 4 weeks he’s dropped all the extra pounds and is now the most fabulously healthy little chap and enjoying his life hugely. His fitness has improved, and he’s living his best Jack Russell life.
